Family & Festival Camping On A Budget Eurohike Sendero 4 Tent Review
Not only do we think this makes a perfect festival tent, but for small families or those on a budget, the Eurohike Sendero packs a big punch for its diminutive price and is well worth considering. The Eurohike Sendero could be regarded as a budget version of that tent, as its a similar size and shape, but it retails at just 99.The lower price point is achieved by cutting down on premium materials and features, but that said, youre still getting a lot of tent for your money with the Sendero. With a HH of 2000mm, this tent sits firmly at the entry-level range in terms of performance and whilst it will keep you dry indeed when I tested the tent, it rained overnight and the tent coped well its waterproof rating is half that of the Icarus, which gives you some insight in the difference in price points. The Sendero also lacks features like fly bug mesh on the door, there are no bedroom dividers, no integrated storage pockets, and theres just 1 zipped door but honestly a tent of this size doesnt really need any more. So whilst this is a basic tent, there are also some great features, like a zipped ground-level cable entry point, front air vents, lantern hanging points and a deep sewn-in bucket groundsheet. This is a standard poled tunnel tent design thats easy and intuitive to pitch, and it has a pitch in one construction meaning no having to faff around with inner tents and a separate flysheet.VerdictThis is a great value, no-frills tent which makes the perfect choice for young families camping for the first time, festival goers and for couples on a budget looking for a spacious tent for summer camping. Its available in an array of really lovely colours too, ensuring youll stand out at the campsite. Its a tent thats easy to pitch and has a relatively small pack size compared to its pitched footprint and that deep bucket-fronted sewn-in groundsheet provides additional protection in wet weather. Its a solid budget choice and weve rated it 4/5 stars. If you want something sturdier and more capable of surviving prolonged heavy rain, you might want to consider something like the Vango Icarus 5 instead.Where to buy the Eurohike Sendero 4 Family TentGo OutdoorsBlacksAmazonThe post Family & Festival Camping On A Budget Eurohike Sendero 4 Tent Review appeared first on Camping Blog Camping with Style | Travel, Outdoors & Glamping Blog.
