Whilst initially seduced by the colour and on-trend styling of these Sorel fisherman sandals, I fell madly in love once I put them on! Full grain leather forefoot with TPU ankle strap.Available in yellow (shown), white and black.I lament the many years of my life that I spent wearing stupidly uncomfortable shoes in the name of vanity and fashion, but thankfully, I no longer have any tolerance for things that make me even vaguely uncomfortable.Im a comfort all the way girlie (as youll know from my somewhat extra camping set-ups), and I love all things colourful, making these sandals a potential match made in heaven. That said, I really wasnt initially sure just how comfortable these sandals would be. They reminded me a little bit of the jelly shoes I wore as a kid, which I remember making squeaky noises, making my feet sweaty and occasionally rubbing. Thankfully, I neednt have worried.After being thoroughly seduced by their fisherman style, chunky sole and heel and the cheery bright yellow colour, I put them on and paraded around the house making lots of happy noises, confirming that they fit perfectly (Im a UK 6 and found that the 6 fits wonderfully) and that they have a cushioned footbed.Emboldened I headed out the front door and went for a mile-long walk in them for an initial comfort test before trusting them to take me through a full day out on my feet.I discovered that they were as comfortable when I first put them on as they were after wearing them to walk out and about it and realised that yes, these were sandals I could happily wear all day long.Straight out of the box, I must say, the do feel like quite a heavy sandal, so if you like really light sandals you may want to look elsewhere. I love chunky footwear though, and during use, they dont feel at all heavy to wear.I have a regular width to slightly narrow foot, and these fit me well, so Id also advise caution if you have wide feet as these sandals probably wont fit so well for you.What I love mostThe colour and the on-trend fisherman styleSuperb cushioningThe straps dont cling or make your feet sweatyThe chunky high-traction rubber sole which gives great grip and stabilityBeing able to wear them all day long in comfortMy only real gripe is that in the US, these sandals were available in a most beautiful bright pink colour which Id have loved to have the option of here in the UK, particularly seeing as half of my wardrobe is pink.If you love chunky sandals and want something that is versatile enough to dress up or down, thats also super comfortable, you wont be disappointed with the Sorel Ona Streetworks Fisherman Sandals!DISCLOSURE | We were gifted the featured product.
