Sligo (meeting in Enniskillen and car sharing to walk)About this club:Founded in 1991 this club walk on Sundays throughout the year offering three different grades of walks.Grade 1 Generally flat walks lasting 2-3 hours e.g. forest tracks.Grade 2 Moderate hill walks less than 400 meters in altitude and roughly 3-4 hours long.Grade 3 Fairly difficult mountain hikes 400m+ in altitude, 5-6 hours duration requiring a good level of physical fitness. The club members meeting in Enniskillen and car share to the beginning of the walk. Walks are mostly in Fermanagh and the neighbouring counties of Donegal, Sligo and Leitrim, however we also organise trips to other parts of Ireland as well as Scotland, Wales, Lake District and Europe. The club attracts new members who are active hill walkers but who also enjoy the social element of being in a Club along with the safety of walking in a group. The club also welcome and encourage beginners or those with limited experience in hill walking. All members are well supported so that they can enjoy the great outdoors.About the walk:This walk will take place at Benbulben in Co. Sligo.
