Just another 'Swanny' Day
It's mid February, and this time last year we were up to our armpits in snow from the 'Beast from the East'. Quite a surprise then, to see the weather forecast for the day is 14°C - positively tropical for Burnley at anytime of the year!

After issues with the 'check injection' light (hate that thing!) and a quick car change, we were off to Glasson Dock, coz if it's going to be sunny and not freezing, there is no better place in the county to go for a walk, than along the Lancashire Coastal way.
Stunning views from the sea wall across the tidal estuary to the lighthouse, coupled with clean, clear sea breezes are enough to put anyone in a good mood - and banish all evil thoughts towards the inventors of the 'check injection' light!
Added bonus - it was low tide while we were there, which means we could walk out across the tidal flats and 'touch the lighthouse'. The swans in the the fields behind the sea wall were present in their usual droves and put on some spectacular aerobatic displays.
All in all - the perfect 'swanny day'!
